SubZero North recently teamed up with some of their partners to present the Winter Weather Testing Centre of Excellence in Thompson, Manitoba. The three-day conference took place at the Fort Gary Hotel in Winnipeg on February 15th, 16th and 17th. Curtis Ross, CEO of the Thompson Regional Airport Authority delivered the Lunchtime Keynote on February 16th to let the audience know that Thompson is open for winter weather testing business with the newly acquired Winter Weather Testing Campus, “Area 55” located on the grounds of the airport. In addition, Ross provided valuable information on the local infrastructure and amenities that make Thompson the best place to test products for reliability and durability in cold weather.
SubZero North would like to thank our partners who participated with us at the conference: City of Thompson, Community Futures North Central Development, MDS AeroTest, Thompson Community Development Corporation and the Thompson Regional Airport Authority.
